    box-(2).jpgThe City's Public Art Committee went through a Request for Proposal process and selected six visual artists to display artwork on existing traffic signal boxes at select intersections throughout Coral Springs.   Installation has begun and City staff expects all to be installed by the first week in September.   This installation, currently in only six locations, will allow staff and the Public Art Committee to receive input on the program and gain feedback from citizens on whether to expand to other areas of the City.

    Striving to become an outstanding provider of services to the Coral Springs community, the Public Works Department has achieved national accreditation.  Awarded by the American Public Works Association (APWA), the accreditation examiners reviewed 347 policies, procedures and practices to determine if the Department met the high standards for Accreditation.  The Keep Coral Springs Beautiful litter collection program was also named a "Model Practice".

    Wall Street has again affirmed Coral Springs’ AAA General Obligation Bond credit rating. Both Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor's (S&P) have given the AAA rating with a stable outlook to the City's General Obligation Bonds. The AAA rating is the highest bond rating an organization can earn.
