Code Compliance – “Keep it Safe, Keep it Beautiful”

The City of Coral Springs Code Compliance Division plays an important role in maintaining the quality of our neighborhoods and business communities to ensure a comfortable, safe and clean living environment.  Our Code Compliance officers address a wide range of issues in the Corporate Park, from abandoned illegal vehicles parked in the park, overgrown landscape, and unsanitary buildup of trash and debris on canals.

Problems are addressed in a confidential, friendly, and professional manner.  Upon receiving a complaint, a code compliance officer will notify the property owner to explain the problem and suggest solutions.  The property owner is then provided with time to correct the violation.  Our goal is to seek voluntary compliance throughout the year because it is efficient and cost-effective.

The Code Compliance officers will explain the violation that has been identified, the related ordinance and encourage the responsible party to remedy the problem quickly.  “Enforcement” is typically applied after several attempts to gain voluntary compliance have been unsuccessful.   For more information, or if you would like to schedule an appointment with Code Compliance, please contact Pat Uber or Cathy Murphy at 954-344-5964.
